A month later.....

What to expect when you take a couple of months in to dedicating your self only to the practice of yoga?

Well changes in your body and your mind happen very quick... dreams and memories from the depths of your unconscious start rising and emerging to the surface...... smells apear from nowhere ..... bringing along more memories that have been deep inside....

Your body becomes more transparent and you start feeling more of your hart your breath even the fluctuations of your mind seam to be more obvious..... sounds from inside are more loud ,,, like your hart beat your breading and more ...

I feel lucky to have had such good teachers who have tough us slowly in to these process.... otherwise it would be too much.

More i practice ashtanga the more i understand and believe on the traditional method.. learning the basic and slowly moving on... It took me 10 years to get an advanced practice and it will take me at least another 10 to finish these series. 

It would be too much if all these changes had happen in my first years of yoga or if i had learned the ashtanga series too fast.... .

Practice is there so that you experience. 
Experiencing is there so that you really understand your truth and not some one else's truth...

Yoga is not just asana, yoga is all day.
Asana is the beginning of your journey.

Cant really speak about our training since it is too be secret.
 
But over all, its more that i would expect and more comes from the simplicity of learning the method correctly the different techniques and the rituals as well as good ethics and simple lifestyle.....  Step by step learning the next only after the previous has been learned and experienced for some time....

I miss Lisbon and all my friends who study in our shala. 
Miss the mountain in Sintra and the rocks and the farm and the family....
